Media: What's your biggest data priority this year?
Media: Today every business - regardless of size, vertical, or geo - is a data business. In fact some might say data is your single greatest competitive differentiator. How are you planning to use data this year to build exceptional teams, enhance products, and improve customer experiences?

Gfesser: My biggest data priority this year is to work with my team to deliver a new release of our internally-used data platform, across multiple geographies for the first time. Underlying significant changes to the custom user interface, reworked to provide a streamlined user experience, is a re-architected data lakehouse foundation orchestrated by Trifacta and Databricks, including one of the largest Databricks deployments in the world, tested to scale execution of several hundred Spark jobs during peak hour load. The foundation being laid, including the development and availability of common data model structures, will be a driving force behind a host of upcoming use cases implemented for industry specialists within the company.
