According to the Google Analytics account I set up for this blog roughly 5.5 years ago, a threshold has just recently been crossed: 40,000 page views. About 1.5 years ago, I reported that the 30,000 page view threshold had been passed by visitors from 145 countries (the country count is now 154).
The following screenshots from my account show the top geographic locations and languages (based on browser language settings) of visitors over time as these have changed over this time period. In some cases, geographic location or language could not be determined, so Google Analytics marks these as "(not set)".
As of August 2015:
Unfortunately, two cities and one language in the top 10 are currently not set. Cities #11 and #12 are Moscow and Singapore, respectively, and language #11 is "nl". Note that "Bengaluru" is Bangalore, India, "pt-br" is Brazilian Portugese, and "de-de" is German (Germany), as there are other distinct German language codes for other countries (Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Luxembourg).
As of December 2009:
While visitor countries of origin now total 154, during the first few months these countries were limited to 11. Country #11 is Thailand. One city is not set. City #11 is Don Mills, which is a neighborhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Note that Clarendon Hills is a city in the US state of Illinois, and Noida is a city in India. Visitor language count at the time was limited to 5 (it is now 122).
As of December 2010:
By the time calendar year 2010 ended, visitor countries increased to 83 and visitor languages increased to 50. One city is not set. City #11 is San Jose. Note that Ljubljana is the capital and largest city of Slovenia, "sl" is Slovenian, "nl" is Dutch, and "zh-cn" is Chinese (Simplified), as there are other distinct Chinese language codes (Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Traditional).
As of December 2011:
The following year, Russia was introduced in the top set of visitor countries while the remaining visitor countries started to stabilize. Visitor countries increased to 115 and visitor languages increased to 80. One city is not set again. City #11 is Los Angeles.
As of December 2012:
At the end of calendar year 2012, visitor countries increased to 128 and visitor languages increased to 95. One city is not set. City #11 is Singapore. However, note that Lombard is a city in the US state of Illinois, and happens to be my location. Because a bulk of visits from Lombard are likely from me, note that city #12 is Los Angeles.
As of December 2013:
Top visitor cities started to stabilize along with top visitor countries by the time calendar year 2013 ended, although visitor countries increased to 142 and visitor languages increased to 105. As with calendar year 2012, the city of Lombard is present. Cities #11 and #12 are San Francisco and Melbourne.
As of December 2014:
Last year, the top visitor countries, cities, and languages were the same as the year before, with some slight variation in terms of rank within the top 10 for each. One city is not set. City #11 is Singapore.
